Analytics and Cloudflare

Cloudflare serves this site and may process requests for traffic, performance, and security metrics. Those edge metrics are separate from the optional Cloudflare Insights browser beacon. The beacon measures visits and page performance and only loads after you choose Allow analytics. If you reject it, this site does not load the beacon. Cloudflare says the beacon does not read or store cookies, local storage, or other browser storage. Cloudflare may set cookies needed for security features if those features are enabled.

You can change your choice at any time with Analytics settings in the footer. Rejecting analytics stops future beacon loads; it cannot retract metrics already sent.

Preferences saved in your browser

The site saves your light or dark theme choice, the solved state of checkboxes in some docs pages, and your analytics choice in your browser's local storage. These preferences are used to remember your choices on this device. You can remove them by clearing this site's stored data in your browser settings.

External resources

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and math styles from jsDelivr. Pages with diagrams may also load Mermaid from jsDelivr. Your browser makes requests to those providers when it loads those resources. Links to external websites are governed by those sites' own privacy practices.
